"SOLO DANCE COMPETITION"

A "Solo Dance Competition" was organized for the students of classes IV-VIII in Cynthia Senior Secondary School on Thursday, 18-11-2021, which was based on contemporary, western, classical, and semi-classical dance. The main objective of the competition was to encourage the inherent dance art in the students. All the selected students participated enthusiastically in the competition and presented a beautiful dance as per the theme. The competition saw the presence of more than 300 students and teachers as a part of the audience in the school auditorium. Around 54 students performed on various genres as Contemporary/Western/Classical/Semi-Classical. The competition was inaugurated by the students Tanu Singh and Vaibhav Joshi. Mrs. Meena Rana, Ms. Tulsi Sharma, Mrs. Geeta Bora, Ms. Tanuja Dangi, Mr. Nitesh Raj were present in the work-in-charge of this competition and Mrs. Dhaneshwari Budhori, Mrs. Neeta Paliwal, Mrs. Pinky Chauhan did the work of the judging board in the competition. In the result of this competition, Kashvi Joshi of class VI and Himangi Kandpal of class VIII jointly stood in the first position, Mansi Manral of class VI and Gauri Chauhan of class VIII jointly stood in second position and Manasvi Joshi of class VII and Dishi Joshi of class V stood in third position in classical dance. Also, in western dance Shristi Lweshali of class VI and Lavanya Paliwal of class VI jointly stood in first position, Angel Bisht of class VIII and Satya Upreti class V jointly stood in second position and Vaishnavi Paliwal of class VII, Poorvi Koranga of class V and Deepanshu Negi class V jointly stood third position.
