Gandhi Jayanti, celebrated on October 2nd every year, is a day to honor the birth anniversary of the Father of the Nation, Mahatma Gandhi. This day holds special significance in Cynthia Senior Secondary school as students and teachers come together to pay homage to the man who led India to freedom through non-violence and civil disobedience.  Cynthia schoool celebrated Gandhi Jayanti in a unique and meaningful way, with teachers and students joining hands for a special tribute. The celebration commenced with a heartfelt tribute by the teachers, who shared inspiring stories and quotes from Mahatma Gandhi. They emphasized his principles of truth, non-violence, and simplicity, encouraging students to follow in his footsteps and be agents of positive change in society. A highlight of the event was the active participation of NSS (National Service Scheme) and NCC (National Cadet Corps) students in a cleanliness drive. These enthusiastic students took to the school premises to clean up the surroundings, showcasing the spirit of 'Swachh Bharat Abhiyan' championed by Gandhi Ji.
