Cynthia Sr. Sec. School, Haldwani proudly hosted Day 1 of its Model United Nations (MUN) Conference, providing students with an enriching platform to experience diplomacy, international relations, leadership, public speaking, negotiation, and collaborative decision-making. The conference was inaugurated by the Honourable City Magistrate, Shri Abz Prasad Bajpai, in the gracious presence of Mr. Neeraj Joshi, Founder & Chairman, Wonder Brains, along with Ms. Kritika Tripathi and Ms. Farheen Prabhakar. The inaugural ceremony commenced with the traditional lighting of the ceremonial lamp, symbolising the dispelling of darkness and the pursuit of knowledge, followed by a soulful Ganesh Vandana seeking blessings for the successful proceedings. The conference thereafter set the stage for enthusiastic participation by student delegates, who stepped into the roles of diplomats and representatives of various nations, engaging in meaningful discussions, debates, negotiations, and deliberations on contemporary global issues. Day 1 witnessed an inspiring blend of confidence, diplomacy, critical thinking, and youthful perspectives, making the beginning of CYNMUN 2026–27 a memorable and intellectually enriching experience for all participants.
