Cynthia School celebrated the vibrant festival of Harela
with great zeal and enthusiasm in its Pre-Primary Wing. The students of Nursery,
LKG, and UKG gathered in the School Auditorium to mark the occasion
with joy and cultural pride. Teachers acquainted the little learners with the
significance of Harela, a traditional festival of Uttarakhand that symbolizes
greenery, prosperity, environmental conservation, and gratitude towards nature.
Adding colour and charm to the celebration, the tiny
tots came dressed in beautiful traditional attire, reflecting the rich cultural
heritage of the region. A lively dance session on melodious Pahadi folk songs
filled the auditorium with excitement as the children enthusiastically
showcased their adorable performances. Their radiant smiles and boundless
energy made the celebration truly memorable.
The Harela celebration served as a meaningful learning experience, fostering
cultural awareness, environmental consciousness, and a sense of belonging among
the young learners while creating cherished memories for everyone present.
